Chest/Bust - taken horizontally from seam at bottom of each armhole
Waist - doubled width of waistband laid flat (range included in cases of elastic waist)
Hips - doubled width of widest point of hip when laid flat
Inseam - measured from crotch seam along inside seam of leg until bottom hem 
Length - total length of garment, taken from top of waistband, shoulder seam, or strap to bottom hem

Measurements are best taken with a tape measure by another person.
Ensure form fitting or minimal clothing is worn, and always leave 1-2 fingers of space between the measuring tape and your body. Depending on the garment, add an additional 1-2” to the measurements we provide for comfort and proper fit. 
Chest/Bust - around largest point of bust and under arms. Ensure this measurement is not too tight and remains horizontal across 
Waist - comfortably around smallest point of waist
Hips - around widest point of hips
Rise - measured vertically from top of garment to top of inside thigh (bottom of rise meets top of inseam)
Inseam - from top of thigh along inside of leg until just under ankle bone, or wherever you like your pants to hit (above ankle, floor, etc.)
